On May 14, Sion announced the launch of its summer bedding product, the Sione Cool Mat, and said it plans to expand its lineup of cooling bedding.
The mat has a contact-cooling (Q-max) rating of 0.423, a metric that indicates how cool a surface feels on contact. Built for hot weather, the product is intended to reduce heat-related discomfort during sleep and improve overall comfort.
Made in South Korea, the Sione Cool Mat holds KC certification for children under 36 months. Sion said it engineered the mat not only for cooling performance but also for real-world durability and sustained user satisfaction after repeated use.
Consumers shopping for cooling bedding are increasingly weighing material, tactile cooling and safety alongside price. That shift has pushed the summer bedding market to segment around cooling fabrics, certification and ease of care.
Sion already offers cool mats and cooling blankets for the summer season. The company said it will draw on its accumulated sales experience to refine product quality and broaden its range of cooling items tailored to seasonal lifestyles.
“We are focusing on improving product quality and user satisfaction to provide a more comfortable sleep environment in summer,” a Sion spokesperson said. “We plan to continue introducing a variety of cooling products suited to seasonal lifestyles.”
