[SPOTV News= Reporter Huh Na-won] Actress Kim Go-eun is mourning after announcing that her beloved dog, Wol-i, has crossed the rainbow bridge.
On May 12, Kim Go-eun shared a photo on her personal Instagram of Wol-i with his eyes closed, adding the simple, heartbreaking note: “Don’t be in pain there.”
She followed that with a string of photos and short captions — “I love you, Wol-ah” and “Wol-i” — sharing intimate memories of their time together.
The pictures span from their very first meeting to quiet moments of the two of them asleep, curled up and holding each other — a tender look at a bond that clearly meant the world to her.

Other photos showed Wol-i joining Kim on set and even tagging along on trips during her busy schedule, underscoring how much of a constant companion he was through the years.
Kim adopted Wol-i in 2022 after the rescue dog was diagnosed with an incurable condition. Since then, she frequently posted snapshots of their daily life, making her affection for him unmistakable.
It also grabbed attention when reports revealed Wol-i had attended the same puppy kindergarten as Rosé’s dog, Hank.
