By Jo Du-hee, The Public — Ourhome has launched “Kim Yong-bin’s Daechang Chicken Stew,” the winning dish from KBS2’s variety program “Pyeonstorang,” which aired on the 8th.
The company says the stew achieves a deeper, richer broth by adding daechang (beef large intestine) to the chicken, and rounds out the flavor with roasted soybean powder for balance.
Ourhome is introducing the dish as a convenient ready-to-eat option while also expanding it into restaurants and institutional catering. The menu will roll out to group meal sites in the third week of May, and will be available starting May 16 at Cheongunmiga (Incheon Airport Terminal 1) and Culinary Square (IFC Mall).
To celebrate the launch, an Ourhome spokesperson said the company will offer discounts and run photo-review promotions, inviting customers to try the dish and share their thoughts.
