NexG turned fellow performers into fans on KBS2’s “Immortal Songs.”
On May 9, the Joo Young-hoon episode of KBS2’s “Immortal Songs” featured a performance by NexG, a fifth-generation boy band.
That night NexG delivered Turbo’s “My Childhood Dream,” combining commanding choreography with steady vocals. Their dance break, in particular, drew loud cheers from both the audience and fellow performers.
MC Lee Chan-won said the stage reminded him of ATEEZ’s winning take on Turbo’s “Black Cat.” Comedian Kim Jun-hyun added, “Now I see why people call them a must-see for fifth-generation K-pop.”
Singers Chaeyeon and Kim Ki-tae even said they’d consider joining the group’s fan club, NexT. Chaeyeon said, “I pictured the Turbo brothers I watched as a kid, and it truly felt like a NexG song.”
