The Black Label unveiled a poster for Taeyang’s upcoming album.
On May 5, the label posted the poster image on its official social media channels for Taeyang’s fourth studio album, QUINTESSENCE.
The poster presents Taeyang shrouded in a raw, intense aura. He hints at a comeback that blends his signature style with a bold new transformation, drawing attention with a commanding, charismatic gaze.
Earlier, Taeyang posted a trailer and the main images for QUINTESSENCE, due May 18, stoking anticipation. Fans are eager to hear which tracks will fill the record, which promises to showcase Taeyang’s unshakable essence amid themes of collision, birth, change and flow.
QUINTESSENCE is Taeyang’s first full-length album in roughly nine years, following WHITE NIGHT in August 2017. It is expected to underscore the versatility and staying power of the all‑around solo artist.
In mid-April — on April 12 and April 19 (local dates) — Taeyang and his BigBang bandmates headlined the U.S. music festival Coachella, electrifying global audiences. After group activities, he is preparing a striking solo return.
QUINTESSENCE will be released at 6 p.m. KST on May 18.
