On the 30th, Seo told viewers on her YouTube channel, Seo Dong-ju’s Tto.Do.Dong, that she is currently trying to get pregnant again. The video mainly highlighted the launch of her skincare line, Kiana.

Offering a personal update, Seo said, \”I honestly don’t know how it will turn out. I might get pregnant next time, or I might not. But when I look at my life over the long run, things have often worked out better in ways I couldn’t have imagined.\”

She added, \”When I married in my 20s, I hoped the marriage would last and that I would live a stable life, but I ended up divorcing. I went on to live many different kinds of lives and eventually met my husband. If God had answered that earlier prayer by preventing those experiences, I wouldn’t be who I am now, and I wouldn’t have met my husband.\”

\”Meeting my husband has made me truly happy,\” she said. \”The same goes for having a child. I don’t know if it will happen, but if it’s meant to be, I believe it will come at a wonderful time I haven’t imagined—when I’m more prepared than I think.\”

From revealing the missed miscarriage to recovery

On the 2nd of last month, Seo first disclosed the miscarriage on the same channel with a video titled, \”Maybe it’s not time for me to become a mom yet. Chilbok, let’s meet again next season!\”

She said she underwent a suction curettage (D&C) after a missed miscarriage and \”sent Chilbok\”—her baby’s nickname—off. \”I did everything I could to protect the pregnancy,\” she said, describing daily injections, medications and vaginal suppositories.

Seo said her blood test results rose slowly, then an embryo sac and yolk sac were detected, which gave her hope. But the hospital later informed her that the embryo sac had stopped developing.

Three days after the procedure, on the 14th of last month, she posted another video saying, \”I didn’t cry as much as I thought I would, and I feel better day by day. I’m stable now.\”

In that follow-up video, Seo showed how drawing helped her process grief. In her initial miscarriage video she acknowledged fear but said she still wanted to try again, adding that her heart was gradually growing steadier.

She is the daughter of the late Seo Se-won and fellow TV personality Seo Jeong-hee. After working as an attorney in the United States, she returned to Korea and built a career in broadcasting. On June 29 last year, she remarried in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, to a non-celebrity man four years her junior who works in talent management. She has publicly shared her attempts to conceive through in vitro fertilization on her YouTube channel.

In the recent video, Seo also announced a new chapter as an entrepreneur. She revealed the rebranding of Kiana, a skincare line she financed herself, signaling a move into the beauty business alongside her broadcasting work. She is now balancing efforts to conceive with expanding her business.
