SK Intelix is positioning NAMUHX, which it bills as the world’s first wellness-robotics brand, to reshape how engaged and newly married couples set up their homes.
NAMUHX, a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional Korean moon jar (dalhangari), pairs autonomous air purification with contactless vital-sign screening. The company presents it not just as an appliance but as a combined interior and wellness solution.
Built on human-centered artificial intelligence, NAMUHX offers autonomous navigation, an air system controlled entirely by voice, and contactless vital-sign monitoring—all designed to operate with intuitive, on-device AI.
SK Intelix is clearly targeting the growing “wellness dowry” trend among couples who want household products that prioritize both health and convenience.
◇ Ten times faster than fixed units… Autonomous air solution covering about 2,135 sq ft (60 pyeong)
NAMUHX uses autonomous navigation to seek out indoor pollution sources and move to treat them, functioning as an all-around air-quality system.
Compared with fixed air purifiers intended for about 712 sq ft (20 pyeong), NAMUHX purifies roughly ten times faster. A single unit can manage a space of up to about 2,135 sq ft (60 pyeong), cutting energy costs and improving how households use their space.
The device also includes an all-in-one filter that removes more than 99% of 28 types of pollutants, including ultrafine dust particles, bacteria and viruses.
Its Air Shield mode focuses on fine particles produced during cooking, while a Follow Me feature maintains a set distance behind a user to continuously monitor and manage air quality—creating a closer, more personalized care system.
◇ Intelligent AI powered by Gemini… Vital-sign checks in under 10 seconds
SK Intelix says it tapped Google’s latest AI model, Gemini, to elevate NAMUHX’s capabilities.
The robot relies on on-device AI so users can control key functions by voice alone—without having to handle another device or rely on a constant internet connection—delivering faster responses and higher accuracy in real time.
NAMUHX can also query Google to provide up-to-the-minute answers when users ask for current information.
Its health features are notable: using contactless remote photoplethysmography (rPPG), the device measures five key health indicators—including body temperature, heart rate and a stress index—in under 10 seconds.
Design-wise, NAMUHX’s moon-jar silhouette, which won Germany’s iF Design Award, enhances its value as an object of interior decor, allowing it to sit naturally in living rooms, bedrooms and other spaces.
SK Intelix says it will roll out the security features and a healthcare chatbot demoed at MWC 2026 via software updates, with the aim of setting a new global standard in the wellness-robotics market through NAMUHX.
