[JoyNews24 reporter Jung Ji-won] NCT member Taeyong is set to release his debut full-length album, WYLD, on May 18.
The 10-track record, led by the title song “WYLD,” will be released at 6 p.m. on May 18 across global music platforms. Taeyong penned the lyrics to all 10 songs, composed nine of them, and took part in producing the album.
Taeyong has forged a distinctive musical identity across his solo projects — from his first EP SHALALA and second EP TAP to the April 17 single “Rock Solid,” featuring Anderson .Paak.
As his first new work since his military discharge, the album channels a firmer inner resolve and deeper emotional textures. He concentrated on showcasing his musicianship and refining the record’s artistic craft.
WYLD will also be available as a physical release on May 18, with preorders opening on the 27th at participating online and brick-and-mortar retailers.
