CORTIS reached No. 1 on streaming charts with their new single REDRED.
The title track from CORTIS — Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun and Gunho — climbed to No. 1 on Apple Music’s Today’s Top 100: South Korea on the 26th. The song entered the chart at No. 72 on the chart dated the day after its release, the 21st. It then rose to No. 17 on the 22nd, No. 10 on the 23rd, No. 3 on the 24th and No. 2 on the 25th.
Beyond South Korea, the track appeared on Apple Music’s Today’s Top 100 in 20 countries and territories, including Taiwan (No. 4), China (No. 15), Thailand (No. 23) and Russia (No. 70).
On China’s largest music streaming service, QQ Music, REDRED climbed one spot to No. 2 on the New Releases chart on the 26th and jumped nine places to No. 8 on the Rising chart.
Their music show appearances also drew notice. The M Countdown performance video surpassed 1 million views on YouTube on the afternoon of the 26th, three days after it aired.
Meanwhile, CORTIS will release their second mini-album, GREENGREEN, on May 4 at 6:00 PM. That evening at 8:00 PM, they will hold a GREENGREEN Release Party at S-Factory in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, where they plan to perform six new songs live.
