[MyDaily = Reporter Han So-hee] Rei of IVE, a trendsetter among young South Koreans, has returned with her solo series Follow Along with Rei.
Her YouTube channel Follow Along with Rei recently released a new episode titled Introducing Rei’s New Aesthetic.
Rei returned after a long winter break and opened the new season by saying she wanted to show fans what she’d prepared, stoking anticipation among the fan club DIVE.
She answered pre-submitted fan questions and gave updates on her recent activities, mentioning promotions for her second full album, REVIVE+, and appearances on U.S. broadcasts — underscoring her active global schedule.
About the new season, she said it will likely be more challenging. She joined planning meetings and plans to try a variety of ideas to reflect her own tastes. She also tried editing video herself, assembling behind-the-scenes footage and showcasing a versatile skill set.
On the show’s \”Follow Along with Rei Map,\” she laid out concrete plans for upcoming content. Rei chose merchandise production and DIY segments and floated a collaboration with member Gaeul. She further raised expectations by suggesting possible shoots with Ahn Yujin and Leeseo.
She also proposed advice segments, an upgraded \”Hang Out with Rei,\” and travel features. After making a keyring herself and demonstrating both taste and handiwork, Rei promised to bring entertaining content to viewers.
Through Follow Along with Rei, she continues to share daily life and trends with fans. With hands-on content that reinforces her role as a trendsetter, anticipation for the new season has only grown.
