On the April 25 episode of JTBC’s Knowing Bros (also known as Ahyung), the program staged a special spotlighting high-note vocalists, featuring Kim Jong-seo, Kang Kyun-sung, Lim Jeong-hee, Wendy, and Kim Jae-hwan.
When asked which of his songs required the highest notes, Kim Jae-hwan replied that the ad-lib section he sings in the group’s track “Energetic” was probably the highest.
He also revealed that Wanna One plans to restart activities gradually, beginning with a reality show — news that excited fans.
After he asked for support, the cast responded with applause.
Wanna One was formed in 2017 through Mnet’s Produce 101 Season 1 as a project group made up of Kang Daniel, Park Ji-hoon, Lee Dae-hwi, Kim Jae-hwan, Ong Seong-wu, Park Woo-jin, Lai Kuan-lin, Yoon Ji-sung, Hwang Min-hyun, Bae Jin-young, and Ha Sung-woon.
The group concluded promotions after a January 2019 concert and returned to their respective agencies. This year, Mnet plans to reunite them for the first time in seven years with a new variety show, Wanna One Go: Back to Base.
