[Sports Seoul | Reporter Kim Jong-chul] Actress Shin Se-kyung has teamed up with eganiks, a reverse-aging brand operated by Newbury Street.
eganiks announced on the 24th that it has selected Shin Se-kyung as the first official model for its newly launched hyper-personalized home-care device, TightHera.
The name eganiks comes from spelling “Skin Age” backward—symbolizing the brand’s mission to rewind the signs of skin aging. Under the slogan “Reverse your skin age, eganiks,” the company offers AI-driven, personalized reverse-aging solutions tailored to each user’s skin condition.
TightHera is a next-generation home-care device designed to bring dermatology-grade, customized treatments into the home. Its AI analyzes daily changes in a user’s skin and recommends an optimized routine—selecting from high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), radiofrequency (RF), ultra-high frequency, cryotherapy, and absorption mode—to support a consistent, effective skincare regimen.
Notably, TightHera features an AI RF mode using wide-band dual-wave technology—the first of its kind in the industry—to craft frequencies matched to each user’s skin for precise care. Developed with input from researchers affiliated with Harvard, MIT, and KAIST and consulted by leading dermatologists in Gangnam, the product brings hyper-personalized tech aimed at setting a new standard in beauty.
eganiks said it chose Shin Se-kyung because her clear, confident image and steady commitment to self-care fit the brand’s philosophy of “customized care just for you.” The TightHera visuals and campaign content featuring Shin will be rolled out sequentially on eganiks’ official social channels and website.
An eganiks spokesperson said, “We will actively showcase TightHera’s unique appeal as an AI personal skin solution with actress Shin Se-kyung,” adding, “We plan to expand customer touchpoints and continue growing eganiks’ hyper-personalized home-care experience.” jckim99@sportsseoul.com
