[Sports Seoul | Reporter Yoon Dong-eon] Super Junior member Donghae revealed that he nearly debuted with BigBang.
On the 24th, the YouTube channel ‘Jipdaesung’ posted a video featuring Donghae and his bandmate Eunhyuk, who traded playful banter.
In the clip, Daesung asks Donghae if he knows \”Jiyong hyung\” and \”Youngbae hyung.\” Donghae replies, \”I don’t know them, but I’ve seen them,\” a response that caught viewers’ attention.
Donghae then looked back on his childhood. He said Se7en’s Dong-wook used to be kind to him when he was young. One day he got a call to come out to Apgujeong; when he arrived, he found G-Dragon and Taeyang at a PC bang, playing games with sky-high energy.
After the game, Se7en invited them to eat, but Donghae admitted he didn’t speak to them at all, prompting laughter. Eunhyuk teased, \”You were just there to round out the headcount.\”
He recalled sitting at a charcoal-grilled ribs restaurant feeling too shy to speak. Dong-wook asked, \”Do you know how much these pants cost?\” and Donghae mimicked G-Dragon replying, \”About 70?\”
Donghae laughed as he remembered, \”After that, we went to the Han River, played music and danced. I wasn’t very good. It made me realize YG and SM have different vibes.\”
Eunhyuk added, saying it would be stranger if the two hadn’t stayed friendly after an encounter like that.
