Gyeonggi Province will begin operating a new late-night airport bus that runs via Paju and Goyang starting at 10 p.m. on the 30th to ease travel for residents using Incheon International Airport overnight.
According to the province on the 24th, the route will depart Geumchon Station in Paju, stop at five locations in Paju and seven in Goyang, and continue on to Incheon International Airport. The service will operate two round trips during late-night hours, with the first bus leaving at 10 p.m. on the 30th.
Gyeonggi expanded the service after Incheon Airport increased 24-hour operations and late-night passenger numbers rose. Ridership on late-night airport buses departing from eight cities across the province grew roughly 13%—from about 100,000 in 2024 to 113,000 last year. Still, northern Gyeonggi had been underserved at night, forcing some travelers to take taxis or sleep at the airport.
The new route was developed in collaboration between Gyeonggi Province and Incheon International Airport Corporation. The two agencies will split any operating deficit evenly to ensure stable service.
With the addition, Gyeonggi’s late-night airport bus network expands from nine routes to ten.
