[TV Daily reporter Choi Hana] The group &TEAM extended its momentum by selling 1,090,261 copies on the release day of its third Japanese mini-album, We on Fire.
According to Hanteo Chart on April 22, We on Fire, released April 21, sold 1,090,261 copies that day and claimed the top spot on the daily album chart. With that figure, &TEAM has now reached million-seller status with three consecutive releases: the Japanese single \”Go in Blind,\” the Korean mini-album Back to Life, and We on Fire. The group has broadened its international footprint, becoming the first Japanese act to register million-seller releases in both Korea and Japan. Earlier projects entered the U.S. Billboard and France’s SNEP charts, and outlets including Forbes have highlighted the group as one to watch. That momentum was visible at a fan showcase at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul on April 21. &TEAM performed the title track \”We on Fire\” and additional album cuts as they kicked off promotions in Korea. At the showcase, the members said, “We’re happy to have such a strong start. We’ll work harder to show you even better performances,” and pledged, “We will keep growing as &TEAM.” While continuing domestic activities, including television music show appearances, &TEAM will embark on a 2026 Asia tour — 2026 &TEAM CONCERT TOUR ‘BLAZE THE WAY’ — visiting 11 cities. The South Korea dates are scheduled for July 4 and 5 at Incheon Inspire Arena. [TV Daily reporter Choi Hana news@tvdaily.co.kr/Photo courtesy of HYBE Labels] |
