Kim Jae-hwan has unveiled a music-video teaser ahead of his digital single ‘I’ll Come Pick You Up,’ which is scheduled for release at 6 p.m. on the 22nd.
The teaser premiered on his official YouTube channel on the 21st.
The clip opens with a paper airplane in flight, pairing analog details—like a phone booth—with sleek, cinematic direction that teases the full music video.
The video cuts between Jae-hwan’s vocal takes and scenes of the band recording in session, revealing the song’s mood. String lines rise over a rhythm anchored by drums, bass and keyboards, underscoring the track’s emotional arc.
‘I’ll Come Pick You Up’ is Jae-hwan’s first new release since his military discharge. The rock ballad carries a message of staying by someone’s side through exhaustion and hardship. Jae-hwan contributed lyrics, composition and guitar, enhancing the song’s musical depth.
All instruments were recorded live in session to produce a rich, three-dimensional sound. Combined with Jae-hwan’s distinct vocal tone, the arrangement deepens the song’s emotional resonance.
