Yangju’s on-site promotional booth, featured during the 9th Hoamamsaji Royal Festival, helped energize the event with interactive programming that invited visitors to join in.
From April 17–19, Yangju’s public relations team linked the city booth with the festival’s World Heritage Journey Hall, presenting an integrated promotional model that let visitors participate, experience, and naturally absorb the city’s story.
Family-friendly attractions like fan signings and social media events drew crowds, turning the booth into a go-to spot that encouraged visits and engagement.
On the main stage, organizers paired the Cheongdong Geumtak Byulsan OX quiz with a heritage-themed DJ party called “Byulsani’s Hoamamsaji Unsealing,” a promotional strategy that grabbed attention and tied traditional culture to modern entertainment.

The exhibit layout encouraged a natural flow between booth visits and stage activities, increasing both visitor dwell time and participation rates.
Yangju officials say the booth effectively communicated Hoamamsaji’s historical importance and its value as a World Heritage site.
Kim Young-jun, head of publicity, said, “By centering the booth on hands-on experiences, we encouraged visitors to participate voluntarily and boosted social media sharing. We will continue expanding promotional approaches that residents and tourists can feel and enjoy firsthand.”
