[Sports Seoul | Reporter Bae Woo-geun] Influencer Ina-yeon, who appeared on Love Transfer 2, addressed persistent online rumors that she comes from a wealthy family.
On April 17, she posted a video titled “Owning Every Speculation” on her YouTube channel For Now Ina-yeon. In the clip, Ina-yeon went through online guesses about her family background and finances one by one.
She drew a clear line around rumors about her father’s occupation. Claims that he is a member of the National Assembly, a company chairman, or a chaebol heir, she said, are not true. “He’s just an ordinary office worker,” she said, adding that he is still working and feels uncomfortable with public exposure.
She did acknowledge the so-called “gold spoon” label. “Yes, I’m a gold spoon. I grew up loved,” Ina-yeon said. “Now that I’m in my 30s, I realize I grew up in a good environment beyond money.” She emphasized, “I’ve never received any inheritance.”
She also described her financial habits. “I save diligently, so my mother calls me a saver,” she said. “I also pay my taxes regularly.”
Ina-yeon attracted attention earlier when reports revealed she lives in an upscale apartment in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. The unit is valued at roughly 4 billion KRW (approximately 3 million USD), a fact that helped fuel the wealth speculation.
