Gen Z band Dragon Pony (An Taegyu, Pyeon Seonghyun, Kwon Sehyuk and Go Ganghun) will release their first Japanese EP, Run to Run, on June 10.
Run to Run captures the restless energy of youth. Dragon Pony says it will use the experience it has built to pursue loftier goals—tightening its distinctive band sound while revealing a freer, more dynamic rock sensibility.
The EP contains five tracks: the title song “Run to Win,” followed by “Stand Together,” “One Light, One Time,” “Break the Chain,” and “Look Back.”
Notably, the release channels a more direct, intense energy across the band’s expanded musical palette, sharpening Dragon Pony’s musical identity.
Coinciding with their Japan debut, the band will launch a headlining Japan tour—Dragon Pony 2026 Run To Run Japan Tour—with dates in Tokyo on June 17 and Osaka on June 21. Dragon Pony says it aims to win over local audiences with polished performances that move between bright, invigorating moments and lyrical depth.
After releasing their debut EP, POP UP, in September 2024, Dragon Pony expanded across Asia with solo shows and festival appearances. Their wide-ranging command of rock, pop and alternative styles, backed by strong live performances, has made them a standout in the band scene.
Dragon Pony has partnered with Warner Music Japan to release the EP in Japan and will begin full-scale local activities.
