[Korea Financial Times reporter Jeong Chaeyun] TaylorMade Apparel, Hansung F&I’s premium performance golf-wear brand, unveiled the ultra-light Nova Light Jacket on April 14, calling it optimized for the unpredictable conditions of spring courses.
Built for those swingy spring rounds—when temperatures fluctuate and winds kick up—the jacket pairs featherlight comfort with serious performance. It’s designed to be comfortable enough for all-day wear, so golfers can swing freely from the first tee to the 18th green.
Part of the Nova series—the brand’s SS (spring/summer) lineup—the Nova Light Jacket serves as the season’s summer outer layer and features a star-shaped Ventilation Zone on the back to boost breathability. The front panel uses a face titanium coating to enhance wind resistance, effectively blocking gusts while preserving mobility. That balance helps golfers stay steady in rapidly changing temperatures and breezy conditions. The fabric also has an eco-friendly water-repellent finish to handle light rain and dampness.
On the style side, the jacket leans luxe. Its subtly glossy fabric creates a sleek, upscale look on the course, blending function with fashion. The packable design lets you fold the jacket into its own pocket for compact storage, making it easy to toss in a bag and pull on when the weather flips mid-round.
To celebrate the Nova Light Jacket launch, TaylorMade Apparel will run a month-long promotion starting April 17. The promotion will be available at retail stores nationwide and on the brand’s official online store.
A TaylorMade Apparel spokesperson said, “The Nova Light Jacket was designed to help golfers keep performing on spring courses with ever-changing weather. Lightweight, functional and stylish, it offers players a fresh performance-wear option.”
