By Park Dae-sung | Spotv News — FC BS89 Soccer Club and Woorideul Daycare have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on early-childhood physical education.
The two organizations will operate an annual soccer and physical-education program for preschoolers, with plans to incorporate it into the regular curriculum.
The program is based at Busan’s largest indoor futsal center in Yeonje-gu. It occupies one 200-pyeong pitch (about 7,120 sq ft). Three professional coaches will run three groups simultaneously, providing structured instruction to roughly 60–70 children.
\”This is the first partnership of its kind in Busan,\” said Lee Young-ok, director of Woorideul Daycare. \”With top-notch facilities and a structured program, children can exercise in a supportive setting that helps foster positive, constructive self-development. I believe this is a very meaningful step.\”
Choi Ho-young, CEO of FC BS89, said early exposure to proper physical activity and sports is essential. \”Through this agreement, we will provide more professional and sustained physical-education opportunities for local preschoolers,\” he said.
FC BS89’s youth soccer club plans to expand its specialized physical-education programs to other local daycares. The organizations said they will continue to collaborate to strengthen youth sports education across the community.
