[SPOTV News=Reporter Kim Won-gyeom] H//PE Princess, a new global hip-hop group, will perform on a major Japanese stage before their official debut.
H//PE Princess is scheduled to appear at \”Rakuten GirlsAward 2026 Spring/Summer\” on the 18th at Tokyo’s Yoyogi National Gymnasium No. 1.
Since its launch in 2010, Rakuten GirlsAward — held each spring and fall — has become one of Japan’s premier fashion and music events. The lineup typically includes top models and popular artists, tens of thousands attend in person, and the event commands heavy media coverage nationwide.
Remarkably, H//PE Princess secured a spot on this major Japanese stage before their official debut, underscoring their international potential and the strong interest they’ve generated.
The group says it will use the performance to introduce itself to local fans and establish a presence in Japan. Given their inclusion on a major festival bill ahead of debut, observers are watching closely for the local response.
Earlier, H//PE Princess drew attention with school-themed profile photos that emphasized youthful sensibilities and a free-spirited charm. Formed through Mnet’s audition program \”Unpretty Rapstar: Hip-Pop Princess,\” the seven-member global hip-hop group consists of Coco, YSY (Yoon Seo-young), Yuju, Doi, Rino, Nico and Sujin.
H//PE Princess is the first artist signed to Chapter-I, a joint venture founded by CJ ENM and Hakuhodo, with Amoeba Culture serving as co-manager. A global deal with Warner Music Group further positions the project to target markets beyond Korea and Japan.
H//PE Princess will release their first mini-album, \”17.7,\” on May 27 and officially debut. Their pre-debut activities both domestically and internationally have heightened expectations for what comes next.
