[Sports Today reporter Kim Tae-hyung] Jungkook of BTS has surpassed 600 million views on the music video for his first solo single, “Seven.”
On the 11th, BigHit Music announced that the YouTube music video for “Seven (feat. Latto)” surpassed 600 million views at around 4:43 p.m. on the 10th. The video hit 100 million views within 10 days of its July 2023 release and has continued to attract viewers into its fourth year, making it the first of Jungkook’s solo tracks to reach 600 million views.
In the clip, Jungkook plays a man who spends a week trying to prove his love to his partner, delivering a committed, nuanced performance. The playful direction and sleek visuals helped the video take on a cinematic, viral quality. Bradley & Pablo — the directing duo behind projects for Harry Styles, Cardi B and other international artists — guided the production, shaping it into a film-like narrative.
“Seven (feat. Latto)” is a fervent serenade about wanting to be with someone every day. Its catchy melody pairs warm acoustic guitar with UK garage–influenced rhythms, and Jungkook’s smooth, assured vocals captured listeners worldwide.
The track reached No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and No. 3 on the U.K. Official Singles Chart, among other major global rankings. In the Billboard charts dated April 11, it placed No. 89 on the Billboard Global (Excl. U.S.) chart — marking 142 consecutive weeks on that list — and No. 165 on the Global 200, its 139th week on that chart.
On Spotify’s Weekly Top Song Global (tracking period: April 3–April 9), the song landed at No. 93, extending its run to 143 consecutive weeks on the chart — the longest such streak for a K-pop solo artist.
