Sports Today — Park Eun-young, the celebrated chef known for her Chinese cuisine on JTBC’s Please Take Care of My Refrigerator, announced on the May 5 broadcast that she will marry in May.
On the May 5 episode of JTBC’s Please Take Care of My Refrigerator, Park said she plans to tie the knot next month.
“I’m going to be off the market,” she told the show. Unsure where to make the announcement, she said she chose Please Take Care of My Refrigerator because the program feels like home. “We’re having the wedding in May,” she added.

She described meeting her fiancé through a blind date. They had been set up years earlier but it didn’t work out then; after reconnecting over time, things finally clicked. “He was the only one who offered to cook for me,” she said, calling the gesture sweet. “He’s not a chef,” she added with pride.
Park also touched on the viral “wide-eyed” dance that has drawn attention, saying her fiancé didn’t make any dramatic remarks but asked if the restaurant was struggling. “He told me the crazier I dance, the more reservations the place gets,” she laughed, adding that he even offered to help promote the restaurant.
For their wedding song, Park asked Chef Choi Hyun-seok to perform. Choi recounted asking why they wanted his performance when many celebrities could sing — but they insisted they still wanted him. Park joked that the chef was eager to sing as well.
Choi then quipped to Yoon Nam-no, “My dream is to sing a wedding song at a sashimi restaurant,” prompting laughter around the room.
