On April 4, 2026, the Grand Ballroom at the Millitopia Hotel in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, hosted the 3rd “Beyond the Crown” Model Contest & Hanbok Model Selection.
Models Lee Ye-in and Kim Nam-hee took home the top honors.
Designed to discover talent with the looks and runway chops to shape global trends, the contest awards more than just prize money. Winners will also get opportunities to walk in fashion shows, appear in ad campaigns, and serve as brand ambassadors.
Son Seon-ah, CEO of THE SSA, said, “Beyond the Crown aims to maximize models’ potential and serve as a platform to bring Korean beauty to the world,” adding, “It will provide aspiring models with real debut opportunities.”
Meanwhile, last month, 2nd Beyond the Crown winners Kim Sang-min and Park Min-young made waves internationally by winning the Asia Continental Award and the National Costume Award at FUTURE FASHION FACES WORLD 2026 in Türkiye.
