Chef Ahn Seong-jae surprised fans by admitting he’s a frequent user of food delivery apps.
On the 1st, Ahn shared on his YouTube channel that he’d just moved into a new home and confessed that, when deciding what to eat, he often relies on delivery apps.
His wife, who appeared with him, revealed he keeps a VIP status on one delivery platform. Ahn confirmed it and offered his personal tips for picking delivery meals.

He said he doesn’t bother with other people’s reviews or star ratings when ordering. More often than not, the food that shows up looks nothing like the photos on the app, he explained.
Instead, he scans just two or three restaurants before placing an order. Even if one place is reliably good, he prefers trying different spots each time rather than sticking to the same spot.
Ahn noted that the rise of delivery apps has changed how people live, and he admitted, honestly, that sometimes he chooses convenience over effort — a refreshingly human moment.
The video also gave viewers a tour of his new home. He proudly showed off a bigger open kitchen and said it’s renewed his excitement for creating cooking content. He then walked viewers through the living room and the kids’ rooms, revealing a down-to-earth side as a typical dad.

Spotting a “no entry” sign on his daughter’s door, he joked, “I can’t go in either.”
Meanwhile, Ahn, who became the country’s youngest Michelin three-star chef, recently drew attention for serving as a judge on the Netflix show Black and White Chefs.
