[Sports Today reporter Lim Si-ryeong] 2AM member and musical actor Jo Kwon opened up about his family.
On April 1, the YouTube channel Sunpoong Sunwoo Yong-yeo uploaded a video titled \”The Reason Sunwoo Yong-yeo’s ‘Grandson’ Jo Kwon Disappeared — A Story That Brings You to Tears.\”
In the video, Jo Kwon revealed that while he was serving in the military, his mother was diagnosed with melanoma, a form of skin cancer, and part of her foot was amputated.
He also said his father was treated for rectal cancer and underwent four surgeries last year, which left him unable to work. \”I’m an only child, and it was extremely difficult for my mother to care for him on her own, so I go back and forth whenever I can,\” he confessed.
When Sunwoo urged him to take better care of himself, Jo Kwon replied, \”I’m doing my best to manage my health. I have low blood pressure and low blood sugar; when I break out in a cold sweat, it starts at the back of my head and quickly drenches my whole body. My face even goes pale.\”
Jo Kwon added that he once fainted in a waiting room while filming the variety show Sebakwi. Sunwoo responded, \”Even if you really want to keep working, you have to hold back. First and foremost, take care of your body — your health is your greatest asset.\”
