[iNews24 reporter Ahn Young-rok] Looking for a festival with a side of adrenaline? Jincheon County in North Chungcheong Province announced on the 1st that it will operate the Chopyeong Lake Zipline Experience Program alongside the 26th Saenggeo Jincheon Nongdari Festival.
The program offers festival-goers a fresh, hands-on thrill while showcasing the Jincheon County Youth Training Center’s top-notch adventure facilities.
Sessions take place on four Saturdays, from the 4th through the 25th, at the Jincheon County Youth Training Center.

There are two sessions a day—10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 2 p.m.—with 40 spots per session, available on a first-come, first-served basis for up to 320 participants.
Note that sessions may be canceled in case of rain for safety reasons.
The program uses the youth training center’s main adventure facilities, including a 394-foot (120 m) zipline and a 197-foot (60 m) section of a three-rope bridge.
By turning the festival into an interactive experience rather than a passive one, organizers expect it to be a hit with families and young people.
Youth participate for free; adults pay 5,000 KRW (about $3.75).
Kim Ok-kyung, director of Jincheon County’s Education and Youth Division, said, “This is a great chance for young people to try the youth training center’s various facilities firsthand, so we hope many people will take an interest and participate.”
