Kim Soo-ro Moves Next to Uhm Ki-joon: What’s Behind This Celebrity Apartment Shuffle?

[Sports Today reporter Kim Tae-hyung] Actor Kim Soo-ro revealed that he moved into the apartment building next door to where Uhm Ki-joon lives.

The SBS show ‘No, Seriously!’ aired on the 30th, featuring Kim Soo-ro, Uhm Ki-joon and Park Geon-hyung.

When hosts suggested Kim had moved into the same complex to set a trap for Uhm, Kim said, \”Moving into the same building would have been too obvious, so I moved into the neighboring block. Uhm is in Building 103 and I’m in 102.\” Uhm laughed and described how he felt about falling for the setup: \”One day I just looked and he was there.\”

Lee Sang-min asked Kim if he had gone to other lengths to recruit Uhm beyond moving next door, noting that Kim even hosted Uhm’s older sister’s wedding to get close to him. Kim confirmed, \”Yes, I was asked to do it.\” Tak Jae-hoon chimed in, \”You could have asked me — I would have done it,\” to which Kim quipped, \”Back then your name recognition wasn’t as strong. I was on ‘Family Outing’ and you were further down the ladder,\” drawing laughter.

Kim explained he agreed to emcee the wedding because they were in the same agency and Uhm personally asked him. Uhm contradicted that account, saying Shin Dong-yup had actually hosted the ceremony. Tak Jae-hoon then teased Kim again about his standing, prompting more laughs.

Kai said he, too, had fallen into one of Kim’s schemes. Kim joked, \”We’re in the same agency, so I made a powerful pitch.\” Kai admitted, \”Thanks to Su-ro hyung, I tried wine for the first time — and it was one of the five great châteaus. It didn’t taste good,\” he confessed, drawing amused reactions.

Kim added that he later took Kai on a trip to the U.K., saying, \”I treated him — it was during ‘Eurachacha Mansuro.’ I brought him on board.\” Kai revealed that Kim has more than 2,600 contacts saved on his phone. When Kim asked, \”Doesn’t everyone have that many?\”, Tak Jae-hoon deadpanned, \”I have three,\” and Kai said his own contacts had grown from about 22 to roughly 100.
