[iNews24 reporter Yoon Junho] Yeosu City in South Jeolla Province announced on the 30th that next month it will launch full operations of its popular romantic bus route, Time-Running Busker, a ride where you can soak up dazzling night views while enjoying live performances.
This year, the Time-Running Busker swaps traditional street busking for a high-energy EDM DJ. Set against the twinkling backdrop of Yeosu’s night sea, pulsing beats, choreographed performances, musical-theater moments and cultural-tour commentary come together to create a moving festival that appeals to every generation.

The service runs from the 10th through Nov. 7. Departing Yi Sun-sin Square at 7:30 p.m. every Friday and Saturday, each tour lasts about two hours.
This year’s route also stops by the Gukdong Port flea market, giving riders a chance to dive into local culture and adding extra buzz to the experience.
There are interactive events for passengers, too. ‘Love Serenade’ selects submitted stories by lottery and turns them into surprise celebrations with cake and bouquets. ‘Yeosu Quiz PangPang’ is a playful trivia game that helps riders learn about the city’s history and attractions.
The Time-Running Busker operates by advance reservation, with on-site sales available only for remaining seats. Bookings are made through the city’s OK Integrated Reservation System. Fares are 20,000 KRW (about $15.00) for general admission and 10,000 KRW (about $7.50) for city residents, students and other eligible discounted riders.
A city official said the city hopes to give visitors even more to love through initiatives like linking the route with the Gukdong flea market.
