The Korea–China Entrepreneurs Association and DTCH Group have signed a strategic cooperation agreement with KMULLER, a Tianjin-based specialist in luxury vehicle customization.

On March 30, the Korea–China Entrepreneurs Association (Chairman Kim Hoon) said association, DTCH Group and KMULLER executives finalized the agreement at KMULLER’s Tianjin headquarters.

Chairman Kim and association delegates, accompanied by DTCH representatives, toured KMULLER’s headquarters and production facilities and discussed joint initiatives. “This partnership will be a concrete example of industrial cooperation between Korean and Chinese firms,” Kim said. “We aim to expand synergies between companies from both countries in the premium mobility sector.”

DTCH Group is a South Korean engineering firm that specializes in designing and converting VIP protocol vehicles built on large-bus platforms. CEO Yun Jong-young, a professor at Hanyang University’s College of Engineering, leads the design and conversion programs. DTCH applies AI-driven, engineering-based design methods to develop premium mobility solutions. KMULLER is a Chinese customization house known for bespoke limousines, business vans and luxury coaches, with established expertise in high-end vehicle conversions.

Under the agreement, the partners defined roles to streamline collaboration. DTCH Group will take the lead on design and core technologies for VIP protocol vehicles and large ceremonial buses through its DTCHGeneral MotorsBH unit, while KMULLER will handle vehicle manufacturing and supply to the Chinese market. Professor Yun said the collaboration will “combine DTCH’s design and technology with KMULLER’s production capacity to deliver competitive VIP ceremonial buses.” The deal also enables DTCHGeneral MotorsBH to establish the technical framework needed for local production in China.

Both sides inspected production lines and quality-control systems and discussed plans to scale VIP ceremonial vehicle production and technical cooperation in China. Conversations covered establishing local manufacturing, transferring key technologies and market expansion strategies.

Attendees included Kim Hoon, chairman of the Korea–China Entrepreneurs Association; Seo Hyung-won, the association’s secretary general; Professor Yun Jong-young of Hanyang University; Im Yu-seop, vice chairman of DTCH Mobility; Kim Chang-ha, legal adviser to the association’s Shanghai branch; and Jang Geol, manager at DTCH Group. KMULLER Chairman Ye Seon and Deputy General Managers Li Win-chang and Wei Guang-chang joined the meeting.

The partners have already proven their capabilities on commercial projects. DTCH Group recently completed full customization of a premium team bus for K League 2 club Paju Frontier FC, covering exterior styling and interior space planning. The vehicle was developed based on specifications similar to those used by FC Barcelona on its Asia tour and was tailored to meet the operational needs of a professional team.

Through this partnership, DTCHGeneral MotorsBH secured a technology platform that supports local production in China.

DTCH Mobility serves as DTCH Group’s global distributor, overseeing domestic and international sales and business development. Im Yu-seop, vice chairman of DTCH Mobility, said the company plans to use China as a base to expand across Asia and into global markets. “We’ve recently fielded inquiries from prominent domestic professional sports clubs and K-pop artists about vehicle charters,” he added.

The partners plan to pursue several priorities: establishing production systems for VIP protocol vehicles and large ceremonial buses; expanding premium mobility supply within China; developing custom vehicle programs; and building a foundation for global market entry. A central strategy is to create mobile premium spaces using large buses as the platform to grow the high-end mobility segment.
