CJ OnStyle announced on the 30th that shipments for its ‘Today Arrival’ service surged 252% year‑over‑year between Jan. 1 and Feb. 28.
That surge far outpaced growth across its fast‑delivery lineup—Baro‑Arrival (Today · Dawn · Tomorrow · Weekend)—and underscores that Today Arrival has become a key growth driver.
Most of the demand came from fashion, which accounted for roughly 70% of total shipments. Because orders placed by noon can arrive the same day, shoppers buying clothes they plan to wear right away are making delivery speed a top factor in their purchase decisions.
To meet that shift, CJ OnStyle rolled out a same‑day exchange service in January.
The company now ships replacements and picks up returns on the same day, cutting average exchange time from more than two days to same‑day turnaround. If you request an exchange by noon, you can receive the new item that day—smoothing out the hassle of frequent size and color swaps that come with fashion shopping.
Starting in April, CJ OnStyle plans to expand Today Arrival to high‑engagement categories like home and beauty. For example, shipments of items priced at 700,000 KRW (approximately $525) and 1,000,000 KRW (approximately $750) or more rose 721% and 571%, respectively, in January–February. Premium beauty devices like Dyson and high‑end lighting brand Artemide are notable examples.
As same‑day delivery extends from everyday essentials to higher‑priced goods, delivery speed is emerging as a make‑or‑break factor for buyers.
Building on a same‑day portfolio that spans fashion to premium products, CJ OnStyle plans to move the Today Arrival order cutoff from noon to 3 p.m. by the third quarter.
