[Sports Today reporter Kang Tae-gu] The Doosan Bears (Team President Go Young-seop) announced on the 30th that they have signed an advertising and promotional agreement with pharmaceutical manufacturer Daehwa Pharm Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Eun-seok), extending their partnership for a 14th consecutive year.
Under the deal, every member of the Doosan Bears organization, including the coaching staff, will wear an embroidered “Daehwa Pharm” tag on the upper back of their uniforms during games. The club will also promote the brand during regular-season home games through a brand day, scoreboard advertising and a range of other marketing activities. Daehwa Pharm will provide the team with “Roxona,” South Korea’s first loxoprofen patch, to aid player recovery and help prevent injuries.
Daehwa Pharm practices ESG-driven management to support sustainable growth. The company holds and maintains certifications for anti-bribery management (ISO37001), compliance management (ISO37301), environmental management (ISO14001) and occupational health and safety (ISO45001). It also recently introduced an online dividend inquiry service to reduce paper usage and cut carbon emissions, reinforcing its ESG initiatives.
