Leapmotor has officially launched the A10 (B03X), a new compact electric SUV.
The A10 starts at 65,800 yuan (about $9,550). That aggressive starting price gives the model strong competitiveness in the EV market.
After debuting at last year’s Guangzhou Auto Show, the A10 has entered production and is now on sale.
LiDAR and Qualcomm chips…A concentration of advanced technology

The A10’s standout is a tech-rich specification that exceeds typical offerings in its price bracket.
Certain trims include LiDAR, and Qualcomm 8295 and 8650 processors handle the infotainment and driver-assist systems.
Leapmotor says the car supports ‘parking lot to parking lot’ assisted driving and navigation-based driving for city streets and highways.
That level of equipment is rare among budget EVs.
Up to 505 km (about 314 miles) range…Practicality covered

Leapmotor offers two battery packs — 39.8 kWh and 53 kWh — and claims up to 505 km on the CLTC cycle (about 314 miles).
A single electric motor makes 121 hp, providing adequate performance for daily driving.
On DC fast chargers, the battery can recharge from 30% to 80% in about 16 minutes, enhancing real-world convenience.
Value + Tech strategy — market impact to watch

By pairing LiDAR and AI systems with long range at a sharply reduced price, the A10’s core strength is delivering high-tech features at lower cost.
With price competition already fierce in China’s EV market, Leapmotor’s ‘tech + value’ approach could influence global entry-level EV pricing.
Industry observers say the Leapmotor A10 could reset the benchmark for budget electric cars.
