NewnAI, an AI trend-analysis specialist led by CEO Bae Seong-hwan, announced on the 25th that it has unveiled its fashion-industry–specialized Intel Corporation Regions platform. The company showcased practical ways to apply AI-driven trend analysis at the Fashion AI Connect 2026 seminar held recently at the Korea Textile Development Institute’s Daegu headquarters.
At the seminar, Eunjeong Park, director at NewnAI, used the Fashion AI Analysis Platform to unpack women’s fashion trends and consumer behavior. She also deployed AI forecasting models to highlight the key fashion keywords to watch and to outline the market outlook.
Specifically, NewnAI’s fashion-industry–specialized Intel Corporation Regions platform delivers seasonal and seasonal-trend analysis; detailed breakdowns across roughly 40 subcategories—tops, bottoms, outerwear, dresses, and more; brand positioning insights; connectivity mapping between brands and items; analysis of information volume (market share) by fashion platform; fashion keyword trend tracking; celebrity and influencer trend analysis; and AI-powered trend forecasting.
Park stressed the platform is more than simple data aggregation. It provides actionable analytics that teams can use during product planning, and the AI-based fabric analysis feature stands out as especially central.
The platform’s material AI model dissects more than 30 fabric types, from natural fibers like cotton, silk and wool to functional synthetics, leather and special textures such as tweed and bouclé. It converts consumers’ sensory descriptions—crisp nylon, soft cashmere texture, cool, breathable linen—into quantitative data. NewnAI says those metrics serve as concrete evidence when selecting key materials for the next season.
NewnAI also says the platform accurately classifies consumer responses. By applying multi-dimensional sentiment analysis and an AI author-type classifier, it isolates genuine consumer voices and filters out noise so brands get a truer read on audience reaction.
It further deploys spam-detection AI to automatically identify, filter and block malicious content. Built on NewnAI’s proprietary retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) technology that avoids dependence on external APIs, the platform uses Queta_TrendGPT to deliver reliable analysis unaffected by outside variables.
