The event brought together executives and staff from Gudai Global and its affiliate brands to celebrate surpassing 100 million cumulative sun-care product sales and to recognize their shared growth.
Kolmar Group Vice Chairman Yoon Sang-hyun, Kolmar CEO Choi Hyun-gyu, and Yeonwoo CEO Park Sang-yong attended to welcome Gudai Global. Joining CEO Cheon Joo-hyuk from Gudai Global were about 20 executives and team members from Joseon Minyeo, Skin1004, TIRTIR, Round Lab, and House Beher.
The gathering was designed to reflect on five years of partnership and to map out future collaboration. Hitting 100 million cumulative sales for their jointly developed sun-care products is a meaningful milestone in K-beauty history.
Over the past five years, their sales pace averaged roughly one unit every 1.6 seconds, underscoring how K-style sun care has become a global trend.
The Joseon Minyeo Clear Rice Sun Cream, co-developed by Kolmar and Gudai Global in 2021, topped the sun-cream category on Amazon U.S. during Black Friday. It has become Joseon Minyeo’s signature bestseller and a standout global hit, opening doors in hard-to-crack markets like the U.S. and signaling a new wave of K-beauty momentum.
Round Lab’s Birch Moisture Sun Cream won acclaim after being named among the \”Best Sunscreens\” by NBC in the U.S. in 2025, further validating its quality. Skin1004’s sun-care line has also broken sales records with innovative formulations and proven effectiveness, boosting K-beauty’s global reputation.
Gudai Global’s rise shows that brands without in-house manufacturing can still create global hits. By combining sharp trend analysis and marketing strategy with Kolmar’s ODM expertise, they’ve demonstrated a repeatable K-beauty success formula.
