Premium brand Voyah has revealed the new crossover, the Taisan X8.

The model is a derivative of the full-size Taisan and adopts a more practical five-seat layout.

Unveiled alongside Voyah’s Hong Kong listing, the X8 is being positioned as a cornerstone of the brand’s expansion strategy.

The Taisan X8 measures 5,200 mm in length with a 3,090 mm wheelbase, placing it firmly in the large-SUV category.

Though marginally smaller than the flagship Taisan, the X8 still promises generous interior space.

Exterior treatment reduces chrome accents in favor of body-color surfaces for a cleaner, more refined appearance.

Interior packaging is expected to mirror the higher-spec Taisan, retaining a dual-display digital cockpit.

The infotainment system will run Huawei OS, while driver-assistance and automated functions will be handled by Huawei’s ADS 4 system, underscoring the model’s tech credentials.

Voyah will initially offer the Taisan X8 as a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) all-wheel-drive model.

A 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with dual electric motors delivers up to 517 hp.

Battery configurations confirmed at 65 kWh and 120 kWh suggest strong electric range for the PHEV offering, and Voyah is reportedly considering a pure-electric (BEV) variant as well.

The X8 is slated to arrive in the second half of the year, with pricing expected to start in the mid-80 million KRWrange (approximately $60,000).

Industry watchers are keen to see whether the Taisan X8 can establish itself as a strategic model that combines electrification with premium appeal in the large-SUV segment.
