Dindin Returns: What to Expect from the New Season of ‘Welcome, First Time in Korea’?

[Sports Today reporter Song O-jeong] Singer DinDin opened up about his return to “Welcome, Is This Your First Time in Korea?” and shared his ambitions for the reboot.
On the afternoon of the 19th, MBC Every1 released a pre-recorded press conference online for the series. MCs Kim Jun-hyun and DinDin, along with producer Jeon Min-kyung, introduced the program’s refresh and what viewers can expect this season.
DinDin, who served as an original-season MC, has rejoined the show. “It’s been about five years since I left ‘Welcome,'” he said. “Every time an article about the show appeared, I felt equal parts glad and wistful. When I decided to step away, I thought I had been in one place too long, but I kept missing it.”
He added that returning to the studio felt like coming home. “I even thought, ‘Who dared sit in my seat?!’ ” He reflected on having been part of the show’s golden era and said he hopes to help create another one as the new season launches.
The refreshed MBC Every1 series “Welcome, Is This Your First Time in Korea?” returns tonight (19th) at 8:30 p.m.
