Eight Seconds is expanding its menswear lineup and debuting new pieces as it steps up its play in the men’s casual market.

Samsung C&T Fashion’s casual label Eight Seconds announced on March 19 that, responding to growing demand from male shoppers, it has strengthened its men’s casual assortment and launched its 2026 spring/summer men’s collection.

The brand has boosted its appeal by quickly translating current trends into in‑store offerings and leaning into styles that resonate with Gen Z. That strategy has helped it broaden its customer base beyond its traditional female audience.

By bringing trend-forward items to customer touchpoints and leaning into the looks Gen Z loves, Eight Seconds has raised its desirability and steadily grown its male following alongside its existing female customers.

Over the past five years (2020–2025), Eight Seconds’ menswear posted an average annual sales growth of about 10%. Through February 2026, cumulative sales also showed double-digit year‑over‑year growth.

In particular, sales of the brand’s popular faux-leather outerwear climbed more than 50% year over year, driving overall menswear performance.

To meet rising demand from men, Eight Seconds released an expanded Men & Casual lineup for its 2026 spring/summer menswear collection.

The Men line mixes gender‑fluid pieces that blur traditional boundaries with polished, office-ready styling. The Casual line leans into garment-dyed tees with bold graphics and sporty‑preppy ensembles that feel fresh and wearable.

Eight Seconds also introduced a men’s collection in collaboration with global brand S.W. Smiley®. Known for its edgy streetwear sensibility and the iconic Smiley motif, S.W. Smiley® has a digital-native fanbase drawn to innovation and change.

The collaboration reinterprets Eight Seconds’ aesthetic across several standout pieces: a natural varsity jacket in dark, vintage tones with S.W. Smiley® embroidered accents, and garment-dyed short-sleeve tees that pair unique lettering with Smiley graphics.

The Eight Seconds x S.W. Smiley® collection is available at major stores such as Eight Seconds Myeong-dong, Lotte World Mall, Hongdae, and COEX, and online at Samsung C&T Fashion’s SSF Shop.

Kim Seok‑hwan, head of Eight Seconds’ menswear team at Samsung C&T Fashion, said, “Eight Seconds has quickly become a daily style guide for men, and our customer base is noticeably growing. We plan to drive the brand’s continued growth by setting trend benchmarks with distinctive design and consistent quality.”
