Apink’s Yoon Bomi, set to tie the knot in May, appeared flustered yet smiling when her fiancé Rado was mentioned amidst a flood of congratulations.
On May 9th, Apink graced the YouTube channel “Jjanhan-hyung Shin Dong-yeop” to celebrate their 15th anniversary and promote their mini-album “Love Me More,” marking their comeback after a 2-year and 9-month hiatus.
As the video kicked off, Shin Dong-yeop playfully exclaimed, “Congratulations!” subtly alluding to Yoon Bomi’s upcoming nuptials. He quipped, “Everything about Bomi deserves applause.” Despite his claim that he wouldn’t broach the subject, Bomi retorted with a mix of surprise and humor, “You’re the one who brought it up first!”
The conversation later shifted to the members’ drinking capacities. Bomi confessed, “I’m not much of a drinker. I’d like to enjoy it, but my stomach disagrees.” Shin Dong-yeop mischievously inquired, “Does he not drink either?” Seeing Bomi’s startled reaction, he teased, “Why so jumpy, CEO? It’s just a question!”

As the members marveled at Bomi’s unexpected tolerance that day, exclaiming, “Wow, Bomi’s really holding her liquor tonight!” Shin Dong-yeop couldn’t resist another wedding reference: “If Bomi’s drinking well now, just wait till May. She’ll be even better!” He continued the jest, “And she’ll outdo herself in June, July, and August!”
Jung Eun-ji finally bit, asking, “Why May, specifically?” Shin Dong-yeop responded with a sing-song voice, “When spring is in full bloom~.” The other members joined in, chorusing “Congratulations!” as they collectively celebrated Bomi’s impending marriage.
Yoon Bomi is set to wed composer Rado on May 16.
Their love story began in 2016 when they collaborated on Apink’s third studio album. They started dating in 2017 and went public with their relationship in April last year, culminating in their decision to marry.
Meanwhile, Apink, Bomi’s group, delighted fans with the release of their eleventh mini-album “Re: Love” on May 5th.
