BYD Korea is rolling out a complimentary vehicle inspection campaign for the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday, aiming to ensure safe and comfortable journeys for BYD owners during their holiday travels.
Building on the success of last year’s Chuseok initiative, BYD Korea has organized its second holiday-focused free inspection campaign, underscoring its commitment to customer safety as a core value. The comprehensive service will support drivers throughout their holiday travel, from pre-trip preparation to post-journey vehicle condition assessments.
The campaign will run for a total of eight days, spanning three days before the holiday (February 11-13) and five days after (February 19-20 and February 23-25) at 17 BYD Auto service centers across the country. During this period, BYD Korea will provide free, detailed inspections of critical components for long-distance driving, including power battery status, undercarriage checks, brake system evaluations, and assessments of consumable parts that may need replacement. Each inspection is expected to take about 30 minutes, and customers will also benefit from a complimentary interior deodorizing service for a more pleasant driving environment.
As an added gesture of appreciation, all customers visiting the service centers during the campaign will receive a small gift, enhancing their overall service experience during the Lunar New Year holiday.
A company spokesperson explained, “With increased long-distance travel during the Lunar New Year, vehicle condition becomes paramount. This campaign is designed to provide our customers with peace of mind for their holiday journeys through pre- and post-holiday inspections.” The spokesperson added, “We plan to continue expanding our service programs to meet the real-world driving needs of our customers.”
BYD Korea has set an ambitious target of establishing a network of 26 service centers by year-end. This expansion focuses not only on increasing the number of locations but also on enhancing service quality to create more comprehensive service hubs. Since the launch of its passenger vehicle brand in January, BYD Auto has grown its service center network from 11 to 17 locations, marking an unprecedented pace and scale of growth that has caught the industry’s attention.
BYD Auto service centers operate Monday through Friday nationwide. Customers can find specific addresses and operating hours on the official BYD Korea website.
