Bentley Motors Unveils Bentayga X Concept at FAT Ice Race
Bentley Motors showcased its enhanced off-road prowess with the reveal of the Bentayga X concept at the FAT Ice Race 2026 in Zell am See, Austria, on January 31. The luxury automaker also announced a partnership with event organizer FAT International on February 10.
◆ Increased Ground Clearance and Wider Stance for Off-Road Specialization

The Bentayga X concept builds upon the high-performance Bentayga Speed model. It pairs a potent 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 650 horsepower with an 8-speed automatic transmission and permanent all-wheel drive system.
The most significant modifications are in the vehicle’s underpinnings. Bentley widened the track by 120mm and raised the ride height by 55mm to improve off-road capability. These changes increase the minimum ground clearance to 310mm and the wading depth to over 550mm. The concept rides on 22-inch wheels wrapped in large-diameter off-road tires, with wheel arches extended by 40mm to accommodate the beefier setup.
Exterior additions include a roof rack, auxiliary lighting, and tow hooks. The rear features a titanium sport exhaust system for enhanced performance and sound.
◆ Seven Vehicles on Display, Including Continental GT S

Alongside the Bentayga X concept, Bentley debuted the new Continental GT S for the first time. This model boasts a high-performance HYBErid powertrain generating 680 horsepower and incorporates advanced electronic active chassis technology.
The event showcased a total of seven vehicles, including a prototype from the Speed Six Continuation Series, which pays homage to Bentley’s historic racing heritage. Attendees also enjoyed a ski-joring event, where skiers were pulled by Bentley vehicles across the snow.
Ben Watum, Bentley’s Marketing Director, commented, “Our partnership with FAT International allows us to demonstrate the brand’s versatility. We’re committed to engaging with customers through various automotive cultural events throughout the year.”
