ANUA, the innovative skincare brand from The Founders, has swept Japan’s prestigious Best Cosmetic Awards, snagging an impressive 60 titles last year.
On February 10, ANUA revealed its stellar performance, having clinched a total of 60 trophies in various awards hosted by Japan’s leading beauty media and platforms, including BITEKI, VOCE, Qoo10, and @cosme. The brand’s standout product, the PDRN Hyaluronic Acid Capsule 100 Serum, stole the show by topping the serum category at VOCE’s Korean Best Cosmetic Awards 2025 and bagging 14 awards in total, making it the most decorated item in their lineup.
ANUA’s other star products also shone brightly. The PDRN Hyaluronic Acid Capsule 100 Serum Mask clinched seven awards, including the top spot in both the Rookie and PDRN categories. The cult-favorite Houttuynia Cordata 77 Soothing Toner didn’t disappoint either, scooping up six awards, with a first-place finish in the LOFT Best Cosmetics category. Not to be outdone, the Japan-exclusive Azelaic Acid 15 Intense Calming Serum claimed the number one spot in the WWD Mid-Year New Product Awards.
ANUA’s success wasn’t limited to a single product type; the brand demonstrated its versatility by excelling across various categories including serums, toners, and sheet masks. This impressive showing solidifies ANUA’s competitive edge in both online and offline Japanese retail channels.
An ANUA spokesperson commented, “Securing 60 awards is a major milestone for us, especially considering the discerning nature of Japanese consumers who meticulously evaluate product ingredients and effectiveness. Moving forward, we’re committed to developing cutting-edge products tailored to local preferences, aiming to elevate K-beauty’s reputation in the global beauty scene.”
