The “Debate on Ending Election Fraud” between Lee Jun-seok, leader of the Reform Party, and far-right YouTuber Jeon Han-gil is set to be broadcast live on TV Chosun (tentatively) on the 25th at 4 PM.
This unprecedented public debate on election fraud allegations materialized after Lee proposed “an open debate on the suspicions of election fraud at a 1 to 100 ratio,” which Jeon accepted.
The debate is expected to feature Lee as the sole representative refuting the election fraud claims, while Jeon will be joined by three others supporting the allegations.
On the 9th, Jeon announced on his YouTube channel “Jeon Han-gil News” that contrary to Lee’s assertion that it would be difficult for Jeon to find co-participants, many were willing to join. He specifically mentioned Kim Mi-young, the head of VON News, as one of the participants.
In response, Lee criticized Jeon’s statement, saying, “Jeon makes the baffling claim that he will bring in experts. Where are the experts on conspiracy theories? There are only professionals who specialize in spreading misinformation.”
