[Joy News 24, Reporter Lee Mi-young] “Questions from Son Seok-hee” is set to return for its fourth season during the Lunar New Year holiday.
MBC has announced that Season 4 of “Questions from Son Seok-hee” will air on February 18 at 8:10 PM, the final day of the holiday. The season premiere will feature author Yoo Si-min, lawyer Geum Tae-seop, and media scholar Jung Jun-hee as guests.

The four will engage in a discussion on “The Insurrection Trial and Political Trends.” The following day, February 19, marks the first-instance verdict in the insurrection trial of President Yoon Suk Yeol by Judge Ji Gwi-yeon’s court. After generating significant public interest, the court is now approaching its decision. Moreover, the controversy surrounding the judiciary has intensified, particularly with the acquittal of major charges related to First Lady Kim Keon Hee and Myung Tae-kyun. The Democratic Party is currently divided over a potential merger with the Justice Party, while the People Power Party is grappling with internal turmoil following the expulsion of former leader Han Dong-hoon. The production team of “Questions from Son Seok-hee” explained that these circumstances led to the selection of Yoo, Geum, and Jung as the season’s first guests.
“Questions from Son Seok-hee” has consistently featured hard-to-interview individuals from various fields, generating significant public interest. This season will continue to bring diverse guests to the studio.
Among the notable guests are the winners of “Black and White Chef” Season 2: champion Choi Kang-rok, chef Huh Deok-juk, and monk Seon-jae, who will meet with Son Seok-hee. This marks Choi’s first broadcast interview since his victory. The show will also feature an interview with Lee Sang-hyeok, better known as Faker, the legendary professional gamer.
Faker will discuss the AI era alongside Go prodigy Lee Sedol.
Other guests include veteran musicians Yoon Jong-shin and Sung Si-kyung, as well as Kim Ae-ran, a prominent figure in the next generation of Korean literature.
Each season of “Questions” has centered around a specific theme, with this season’s being “Let’s Return to Principles.”
The production team explained, “As our society gradually returns to normalcy, we’ve chosen to address the concept of ‘principles’ – a topic both simple and profoundly challenging. Son Seok-hee’s approach doesn’t overtly emphasize themes, so these discussions will unfold naturally throughout the conversations.”
The premiere of MBC’s “Questions from Son Seok-hee” Season 4 will air live on February 18 at 8:10 PM.
