Shipping industry sources say the third and fourth South Korean tankers to transit the Red Sea since the Strait of Hormuz was blocked arrived on the 29th, each carrying roughly 2 million barrels of crude oil. They berthed at Daesan Port and Ulsan Port, respectively. A separate tanker transited the Red Sea on the 23rd and is scheduled to arrive in South Korea next month. The Red Sea has become a primary operating area for the Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen.
