Last week the group surpassed Taylor Swift\u2019s mark to record the most No. 1s on that chart so far this year. This week\u2019s placement marked their seventh overall No. 1, setting a new record for 2026.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Thirteen vocal tracks from the album remained on the charts for a ninth straight week. \u201cSWIM\u201d held a Top 10 position on the Global 200\u2014sitting at No. 10\u2014for more than two months and peaked at No. 55 on the Hot 100. The single also reached No. 16 on Adult Contemporary, No. 12 on Pop Airplay and No. 17 on Adult Pop Airplay. It climbed three spots to No. 26 on Radio Songs, underscoring the group\u2019s broad mainstream appeal in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">ARIRANG remained at No. 10 on the Billboard 200, the main album chart, for a ninth consecutive week. The album also ranked No. 4 on Top Album Sales and No. 17 on Top Streaming Albums. Its vinyl edition rebounded three spots from the previous week to land at No. 13.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">BTS placed four albums on the World Albums chart for the third consecutive week. Notably, 2022\u2019s Proof demonstrated remarkable longevity, charting at No. 4 and remaining on the chart for 206 weeks. Their Japanese studio album MAP OF THE SOUL \uff1a 7 \uff5e THE JOURNEY \uff5e (No. 14), the studio album LOVE YOURSELF \u8f49 &#8216;Tear&#8217; (No. 16), and the EP LOVE YOURSELF \u627f &#8216;HER&#8217; (No. 25) also appeared on the chart.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Their earlier releases continue to find steady popularity in Europe. On May 25, France\u2019s record industry association SNEP announced that \u201cON,\u201d the title track from BTS\u2019s 2020 album MAP OF THE SOUL: 7, had been certified Gold (as of May 21). SNEP\u2019s Gold certification reflects the track reaching the equivalent of 15 million streams when combining streaming, downloads, and physical sales.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">On May 25 (local time), BTS took home three awards at the American Music Awards\u2014one of the U.S.\u2019s three major pop music ceremonies\u2014including the evening\u2019s top honor, Artist of the Year. ARIRANG was nominated after only six days of release and swept every category in which it was nominated.
