President Lee Jae-myung on the 22nd praised Prime Minister Kim Min-seok and Democratic Party lawmaker Cha Ji-ho for leading the ‘Global AI Hub Joint Statement,’ calling both \\”a blessing for the Republic of Korea.\\”<\/p>\n

The president posted on X, \\”Prime Minister Kim achieved a major result. Representative Cha also worked hard.\\”<\/p>\n

He added, \\”I thank you for your efforts.\\”<\/p>\n

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Kim attended the vision-launching ceremony for the Global AI Hub Joint Statement at the Hyatt Hotel in Seoul on the 21st, where participants discussed how the international community should cooperate in the AI era.<\/p>\n

The Global AI Hub is a global AI cooperation platform being established in South Korea. Nine international organizations \u2014 the International Labour Organization (ILO), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the World Food Programme (WFP), and the World Health Organization (WHO) \u2014 attended the ceremony and pledged their support for advancing the Global AI Hub.<\/p>\n
