The New York Post reported on the 22nd (local time), citing sources, that Mohamed Bakr Saad Dawood al-Sadi (32), a commander in the Iraqi militia Kata’ib Hezbollah, appears to have been targeting Ivanka Trump.<\/p>\n
According to the report, after the U.S. drone strike that killed IRGC Quds Force commander Qasem Soleimani in 2020, al-Sadi drew up a plan for revenge against the Trump family.<\/p>\n

New York prosecutors charged al-Sadi on the 15th with supporting a terrorist organization and conspiring to use explosives. They allege he directed or coordinated 18 terrorist attacks or attempts in the U.S. and Europe, including a Molotov cocktail attack at a Belgian synagogue in March and a knife attack targeting members of the Jewish community in London in April.<\/p>\n
Authorities arrested al-Sadi in T\u00fcrkiye on the 15th and transferred him to the United States.<\/p>\n
Officials say he served as a core member of Kata’ib Hezbollah and as a key operative within the IRGC. He was a close associate of Soleimani and, after Soleimani\u2019s death, maintained close ties with Soleimani\u2019s successor, Esmail Qaani.<\/p>\n
Kata’ib Hezbollah is considered one of Iraq\u2019s main Iran-aligned armed groups. The organization has drawn international attention whenever allegations have linked it to attacks on U.S. and Israeli facilities or Jewish communities.<\/p>\n
