A 25-year-old Russian woman married to a South Korean man has been supporting their household by making early-morning deliveries for an online retailer while caring for her husband, who is undergoing cancer treatment. Her story has attracted widespread attention online.<\/p>\n
Polina has lived in South Korea for three years with her husband, Moon Sang-won.<\/p>\n
On her YouTube channel \\”PolinaRang,\\” she says she is 25. Moon told reporters he met Polina while traveling in Russia and later married her.<\/p>\n
Last month, she told viewers that her husband had recently been diagnosed with cancer. Since then she has been caring for him while working solo on dawn deliveries.<\/p>\n
Polina said she initially struggled to read and locate addresses written in Korean, which made deliveries slow at first. She says she has improved significantly since then. Videos showing her making deliveries in heavy snow have drawn sympathy and support from viewers.<\/p>\n
Doctors have advised that her husband follow a healthy diet, including daily fruit, for the next five years. While she works early-morning shifts, Polina also cares for him at home, preparing fresh tomato juice and other meals each day.<\/p>\n
As of the 12th, the video about Polina had racked up 280,000 views and prompted discussion across online communities.<\/p>\n
In a recent interview, Polina said many people expect men to lead while women step back. But when her husband fell ill she told him, \\”In a situation like this, you can just stay where you are. Just stand behind me.\\”<\/p>\n
